Stream Cleanup

The Willow Creek Sportsman's Club is proud to participate in an annual stream cleanup along Willow Creek, bringing together club members, volunteers, families, and community partners with a shared goal of protecting one of our area's most valuable natural resources. This community service project reflects the club's commitment to conservation and responsible stewardship of the outdoors.

Throughout the cleanup, volunteers remove litter, discarded fishing line, tires, scrap metal, and other debris from the stream and its banks, helping restore the waterway to a cleaner, healthier condition. A cleaner stream benefits everyone—from anglers to hikers and local residents—while also improving habitat for trout, aquatic insects, waterfowl, and countless other species that depend on clean water to thrive

Beyond the environmental impact, the cleanup serves as an educational opportunity, teaching younger generations the importance of conservation and encouraging them to take pride in caring for the outdoors. By working side by side with experienced sportsmen and women, youth gain a deeper appreciation for protecting the resources that provide opportunities for fishing, hunting, and outdoor recreation.
