Youth Turkey Hunt

The Willow Creek Sportsman's Club Youth Turkey Hunt Contest is held each year on Pennsylvania's Mentored Youth Turkey Hunting Day, giving young hunters an exciting opportunity to experience the tradition of spring gobbler hunting in a fun, family-friendly environment.

Youth participants begin the morning pursuing Pennsylvania's wild turkey alongside their licensed adult mentors before returning to the clubhouse to celebrate the day's success. Every registered youth hunter receives a complimentary turkey call as a keepsake and tool to help continue developing their hunting skills.

The highlight of the event is the Youth Turkey Hunt Contest, where the hunter harvesting the winning turkey earns a FREE professionally mounted turkey, generously sponsored by Furs and Feathers Taxidermy. This outstanding prize gives the winning youth a lasting reminder of a memorable first turkey season and encourages the next generation of conservationists and sportsmen.

Following the hunt, participants and their families are invited to enjoy snacks and refreshments while sharing stories from the field, viewing harvested birds, and celebrating the accomplishments of all the young hunters. The Willow Creek Sportsman's Club is proud to promote safe, ethical hunting traditions and provide opportunities that foster a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors.
